တရုတ်နိုင်ငံ ပေကျင်းမြို့၏ အေးမြသော ဆောင်းဦးကာလ နေ့ရက်တစ်ရက်၌ ၂၀၁၄ ခုနှစ် အာရှ-ပစိဖိတ် စီးပွားရေးပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက်မှု (APEC) စီးပွားရေးခေါင်းဆောင်များ အစည်းအဝေး တက်ရောက်ရန် ကမ္ဘာ့ခေါင်းဆောင်များ စုဝေးရောက်ရှိနေချိန် တရုတ်နိုင်ငံ၏ မြို့တော်အား ကြည်လင်ပြာလဲ့နေသော မိုးကောင်းကင်ကြီးက လွှမ်းခြုံထားခဲ့သည်။

ပေကျင်းမြို့၏ အပြာရောင်ကောင်းကင်ကြီးမှာ မကြာမီ "APEC အပြာရောင်မိုးကောင်းကင် (APEC blue)" ဟု လူသိများလာခဲ့သော်လည်း လူအချို့ကမူ ထိုဖြစ်စဉ်အား ထိပ်သီးအစည်းအဝေးကာလနှင့် ကြုံကြိုက်သည့် တဒင်္ဂ အခိုက်အတန့်တစ်ခုအဖြစ်သာ ရှုမြင်ကြသည်။

ဧည့်သည်တော်များကို တည်ခင်းဧည့်ခံသည့် ဂုဏ်ပြုညစာစားပွဲ၌ တရုတ်နိုင်ငံ သမ္မတ ရှီကျင့်ဖိန်က အဆိုပါ သံသယများကို တိုက်ရိုက်ရှင်းလင်းပြောကြားခဲ့ကာ တစိုက်မတ်မတ် ကြိုးပမ်းအားထုတ်မှုများကြောင့် 'APEC အပြာရောင်မိုးကောင်းကင်' သည် ဤနေရာ၌ ဆက်လက်တည်တံ့နေမည်ဟုဆိုကာ ရှီက ၎င်း၏ မျှော်လင့်ချက်နှင့် သန္နိဋ္ဌာန်တို့ကို ထုတ်ဖော်ပြောဆိုခဲ့သည်။

"APEC အပြာရောင်မိုးကောင်းကင်" ဟူသော စကားရပ်သည် "ကတိများကို လက်တွေ့လုပ်ဆောင်ချက်များဖြင့် စောင့်ထိန်းရမည်" ဟူသော တရုတ်ပြည်သူများ မျိုးဆက်အသီးသီး အမြတ်တနိုးဖြင့် လက်ဆင့်ကမ်းထိန်းသိမ်းခဲ့သည့် စံတန်ဖိုးကို ထင်ဟပ်စေသည်။ အဆိုပါ အတွေးအမြင်က ကမ္ဘာကြီးနှင့် ပိုမိုခိုင်မာသည့် ချိတ်ဆက်မှုများ ပြုလုပ်ရန် တရုတ်နိုင်ငံ၏ ကြိုးပမ်းမှုများကိုလည် လမ်းညွှန်ပေးခဲ့သည်။ ရှီက ယင်းနှင့်ကိုက်ညီသော စကားလုံးများ၏ အရေးပါမှုကို မီးမောင်းထိုးဖော်ပြရန်အတွက် "လူအများ၏ ယုံကြည်လေးစားခံရသူသာ ကမ္ဘာကြီးကို ချိတ်ဆက်ပေးနိုင်တယ်" ဟူသော ရှေးခေတ် တရုတ်စာပေလက်ရာ စာစုဖြစ်သော "ကွမ်ကျစ်" မှ ဆိုရိုးစကားတစ်ခုကို ကိုးကားပြောဆိုခဲ့သည်။  

ဆောင်းဦးရာသီ ရောက်တိုင်းတွင် ရှန်ဟိုင်းမြို့ရှိ အမျိုးသားပြပွဲနှင့် ကွန်ဗင်းရှင်းစင်တာ၏ မီးရောင်များက စည်ကားသက်ဝင်နေသော မြို့ကြီး၌ ထုတ်ကုန်များ၊ နည်းပညာများနှင့် စိတ်ကူးစိတ်သန်းများ ပေါင်းဆုံနေသော ကမ္ဘာလုံးဆိုင်ရာ အခမ်းအနားတစ်ခုကို ထွန်းလင်းစေလျက်ရှိသည်။

၂၀၁၈ ခုနှစ်တွင် ကျင်းပခဲ့သည့် တရုတ်နိုင်ငံ၏ ပထမဆုံး နိုင်ငံတကာသွင်းကုန်ပြပွဲ (CIIE) ၌ သမ္မတရှီက "နှစ်စဉ်ကျင်းပသွားမယ့် CIIE ပြပွဲဟာ ကောင်းမွန်တဲ့ စွမ်းဆောင်မှုတွေ၊ အကျိုးဖြစ်ထွန်းတဲ့ ရလဒ်တွေနဲ့ နောင်လာမယ့်နှစ်တွေအထိ စဉ်ဆက်မပြတ် အောင်မြင်မှုတွေကို ဆောင်ကြဉ်းပေးပါလိမ့်မယ်" ဟု ပြတ်ပြတ်သားသား ကတိပြုခဲ့သည်။

ယင်းနောက် ၈ နှစ်အကြာတွင် CIIE ပြပွဲသည် ကုန်သွယ်ရေး၊ ရင်းနှီးမြှုပ်နှံမှုနှင့် ယဉ်ကျေးမှုဆိုင်ရာ ကူးလူးဖလှယ်မှုများအတွက် ကမ္ဘာလုံးဆိုင်ရာ ထိပ်တန်းပလက်ဖောင်းတစ်ခုအဖြစ် ဖွံ့ဖြိုးတိုးတက်လာခဲ့ကာ ကမ္ဘာတစ်ဝန်းမှ စီးပွားရေးလုပ်ငန်းများ၊ ဆန်းသစ်တီထွင်သူများနှင့် စားသုံးသူများကို ချိတ်ဆက်ပေးလျက်ရှိသည်။

Xiplomacy: From promise to progress

BEIJING, Aug. 10 (Xinhua) -- On a crisp autumn day in Beijing, a clear blue sky stretched above the Chinese capital as world leaders gathered for the 2014 Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Economic Leaders' Meeting.

The azure skies of Beijing soon became known as "APEC blue," though some viewed the phenomenon as a fleeting moment confined to the summit period.

At the welcoming banquet, Chinese President Xi Jinping directly addressed such doubts, expressing his hope and determination that "with persistent efforts, the 'APEC blue' will be here to stay."

More than a decade later, Xi's promise has been fulfilled through concrete action.

The results are visible in the air. Between 2013 and 2025, Beijing's average PM2.5 concentration fell by 69.8 percent. The United Nations Environment Programme has hailed the city's achievements in improving air quality as the "Beijing Miracle."

The story of "APEC blue" reflects a cherished value passed down through generations of the Chinese people: promises must be honored through actions. This philosophy has also guided China's efforts to forge stronger connections with the world. "He who has credibility connects the world," Xi once quoted a saying from "The Guanzi," a collection of ancient Chinese writings, to underscore the importance of matching words.

Every autumn, the lights of the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai illuminate a global gathering, where products, technologies and ideas converge in the vibrant metropolis.

At the first China International Import Expo (CIIE) in 2018, Xi made a clear promise: "The CIIE, which will be held on an annual basis, will feature good performance, fruitful results and continued success in the years to come."

Eight years on, the CIIE has grown into a premier global platform for trade, investment and cultural exchanges, connecting businesses, innovators and consumers from around the world.

The expo, the world's first import-themed national-level exhibition, stands as a vivid reflection of Xi's commitment to China's high-level opening-up. Beyond the CIIE, this commitment has been put into practice through concrete measures, ranging from the launch of island-wide special customs operations at the Hainan Free Trade Port to the expansion of visa-free transit and entry policies.
