ဗင်နီဇွဲလားနိုင်ငံတွင် ဇွန် ၂၄ ရက် ညနေပိုင်းက အင်အားပြင်းငလျင် နှစ်ကြိမ် ဆက်တိုက်လှုပ်ခတ်ခဲ့ရာ ယင်းငလျင် နှစ်ကြိမ်လုံးကို မြို့တော် ကရာကက်စ်တွင် ပြင်းပြင်းထန်ထန်ခံစားခဲ့ရကြောင်း သိရသည်။
ဆင်ဟွာသတင်းထောက်များက မြို့တော် ကရာကက်စ်ရှိ ၎င်းတို့နေအိမ်များတွင် ပြတင်းပေါက်များ လှုပ်ရမ်းနေပုံနှင့် စာအုပ်စင်များ ပြိုကျနေပုံကို သတင်းတင်ပြခဲ့ပြီး ကရာကက်စ်မြို့ရှိ လမ်းများပေါ်၌ နေအိမ်ပြိုကျနေပုံများ ရိုက်ကူးထားသည့် ဓာတ်ပုံများမှာလည်း ဆိုရှယ်မီဒီယာပေါ်၌ ပျံ့နှံ့လျက်ရှိသည်။

ဇွန် ၂၄ ရက်က အင်အား ၇.၅ အဆင့်ရှိ အင်အားပြင်းငလျင်လှုပ်ခတ်ပြီး တစ်မိနစ်မျှအကြာ ဂရင်းနစ်စံတော်ချိန် ၂၂၀၄ နာရီ၌ ၇.၁ အဆင့်ရှိ ငလျင် လှုပ်ခတ်ခဲ့ကြောင်း အမေရိကန် ဘူမိဗေဒတိုင်းတာရေးဌာန (USGS) က သတင်းထုတ်ပြန်ခဲ့သည်။ ထိုငလျင်နှစ်ကြိမ်လုံးမှာ ကရာကက်စ်မြို့ အနောက်ဘက် ကီလိုမီတာ ၁၆၀ အကွာရှိ ပင်လယ်ဆိပ်ကမ်းမြို့ မိုရွန်အနီးတွင် လှုပ်ခတ်ခဲ့ခြင်း ဖြစ်သည်။
ငလျင်များမှာ အနက် ၁၀ ကီလိုမီတာရှိကာ အနက်တိမ်သဖြင့် ထိခိုက်ပျက်စီးမှုအနေဖြင့် ပြင်းထန်နိုင်ကြောင်း သိရသည်။

Two
powerful quakes hit Venezuela, strong shaking felt in Caracas
CARACAS,
June 24 (Xinhua) -- Two powerful earthquakes struck Venezuela in quick
succession on Wednesday evening, both causing strong tremors in the capital of
Caracas.
Xinhua
correspondents reported shaking windows and toppled bookshelves at their
residences in the capital, and images circulating on social media showed
collapsed houses on the streets of Caracas.
According
to media reports, the earthquakes have caused casualties.
Colombian
media also reported the quake was felt strongly in several cities in
neighboring Colombia.
The
U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) reported a magnitude 7.1 quake at 2204 GMT on
Wednesday, followed just one minute later by an even stronger magnitude 7.5
tremor. Both struck near the coastal town of Moron, about 160 km west of
Caracas.
The
quakes were shallow, occurring at a depth of 10 km, which could intensify their
destructive impact.
The
USGS said the two quakes are likely to result in high casualties and extensive
damage.
